Ship-Analogy

Your role in life is like being the captain of a ship.

You don't get to choose your ship. You don't get to choose where your journey begins. You don't get to control the weather. You can never stop the ship.

All you can do, is steer the ship. Sometimes there will be great storms. Sometimes it will be calm. No matter what the weather conditions are, you are the captain of your ship. And you choose to steer it in some direction.

Sometimes you steer into unknown territories. There you shall find dangers and treasure.

But you are the captain of your ship. And so it will always be. Don't curse yourself because of the weather.
