Original Sin

^TH Question: ^TD How can we inherit the sins of Adam and Eve? Why should I be punished for the sins of my ancestors? ^TH Answer: ^TD Imagine a pregnant woman. If this woman were to abuse alcohol and drugs during her pregnancy, it would have a severe impact on the development of the child. Indeed, the child would face lifelong consequences for their mother's actions. The child might be born disabled and sick. Similarly, we carry the proclivity to sin that we inherited from Adam and Eve. The evidence for that is the fact that we are clearly not in the Garden. We also die, and the wages of sin is death.
